When the colour of love becomes the colour of your soul, you know you’ve met the one.
Landscape painter Zenobia Williamson (Zen) suffers years of sexual abuse from her boyfriend. Following his untimely death, Zen finds solace in a married gay man, Markus Kissling.
Markus saves Zen during a treacherous hike in the Canadian mountains. They part ways but he pursues her half way around the world with a proposal: he and his husband, Dean Burbridge, wish her to become a surrogate.
Zen and Markus find themselves passionately bound to each other. Romance blooms but a confession reveals a sinister reason behind Markus’s desperation to become a father. Meanwhile Dean uncovers his husband’s affair and plots to keep Zen out of their lives whatever the cost.
Is Zen willing to overlook Markus’s dark past? And with Dean closing in on her, will she risk it all to stay with the man her soul hopelessly longs for?
